• NASCAR WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR KICK OFFS SEASON IN MYRTLE BEACH WITH THE PERFORMANCE PLUS 300

    MYRTLE BEACH, SC (March 15 , 2018) – The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will start its 19-race season at Myrtle Beach Speedway on March 17, 2018, with the Performance Plus 300 Presented by Safety-Kleen.

    Once again, the North and South NASCAR Modified Tour will compete together, giving fans the opportunity to see some of the top modified teams from each region race against each other at Myrtle Beach Speedway.

    The Performance Plus 300 Presented by Safety-Kleen will have a total of 300 combined laps of racing among five divisions, including the NASCAR Whelen Modified, Late Model, Charger, Mini Stock and Super Truck. Pits open at 9:30 a.m., qualifying is at 3 p.m. and the races begin at 5:30 p.m. with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event.
